We’re not asking people to fix everything for us

Helen

Helen Ellis was diagnosed with autism in her 20s. She now works for the National Autism Society in the U.K. She has co-authored two books, one on autism and masking, and one on autistic people’s relationship with food and drink.

In the video above, she talks about how many autistic people just need a little compassion and understanding to thrive and contribute their unique talents to society.

"Sometimes autistic people want to be invisible—but it's not healthy "
