We need to change the way the world sees non-speaking autism

Elizabeth

Elizabeth Bonker is the director of Communication 4 All, a nonprofit organization that offers tools to empower families and schools to teach non-speakers to type, free of charge. Their c4a academy has instructional videos, case studies, written lessons, resources such as the stencils to get started, and live support.

Elizabeth graduated from Rollins College in Florida/USA in 2022, and gave the valedictorian speech at her graduation ceremony. The video recording of that speech has been viewed more than 330,000 times.

Elizabeth wrote a song about what it feels like to live in a silent cage. The recording of the song features Tom Morello of the bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave on guitar.

"‘Not invisible’ means that all people have voices to choose their own way, to tell their parents they love them, and to live happy, productive lives."
