Grace is from the United Kingdom and she’s autistic. She wasn’t diagnosed until her late teens. It is common for autistic girls and women to be diagnosed later in life. This is in part due to a gender bias often found in autism testing. Girls also tend to experience greater pressure to conform to social norms, making them more likely to mask.
