Karola’s older brother is an autistic young man with high support needs. Karola wishes that people would see beyond his occasional crises and get to know the real person inside him.
To make people more aware, and make society more accessible for her brother and other autistic people, Karola works for Diversamente ODV, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of autistic people and their families in Cagliari, Italy.
