I’m a multimedia and graphic-design professional, and I’m autistic. I work for Inovar Autismo, a Portuguese nonprofit organization. Inovar promotes the inclusion, self-determination and human rights of autistic people, and provides services for autistic people in its independent-life support centres in Alentejo and Setúbal.
I will soon continue my education to obtain a master’s degree in disability studies and human rights. I don’t just want to be included in a space created by and for neurotypical people — I want to help design that space.
