I am happy with my difference

Lou

Lou Guéant is an autistic actor, author and model from France, who wants to help autistic people, especially girls and young women who, like herself, have experienced isolation. She has written two books and acted in films, including the feature-length “Atypic Biopic”, an independent film featuring five autistic actors.

“Atypic Biopic”—directed by Tiffaine Zeroual—aims to challenge societal perceptions of autism by putting the narratives back in the hands of the autism community. Autistic people and their loved ones were involved in every stage of the filmmaking process (as directors, authors, actors) and draws inspiration from their lived experiences. The film is available in French, with English subtitles, for free on YouTube.

You can find Lou’s first book here, her second book here, and see her latest work on her Instagram channel.
