Laurie Deimel is an autistic man from the Midlands in England. He was diagnosed as a young adult and received employment support in the UK, both in the form of training and through employment support workers.
He credits these support systems with enabling him to hold full-time, professional employment for more than two decades now. Laurie advocates for the continued funding of such programs, to make it easier for autistic people to find fulfilling employment.
